Strategy
Voices of American (VoA) focuses our resources on highlighting the lives of everyday Americans who happen to be immigrants. We focus our campaign on simple, yet powerful, unifiers, such as a love for a juicy cheeseburger, or some McDonald’s French Fries.
Given the divisive nature of our current political environment in the United States, we feel that is it vital to remind the American populous, especially those in border states, that everyone is an immigrant to America. By reminding the populous that immigrants are, at their core, just hard-working people that represent the core beliefs of being American, we hope our campaign will stand up to political backlash and pave the way for a revolutionized immigration policy. Our plan is outlined below:

Our hope is that by mending a few concepts that all Americans hold dear, we will pave the way for a clearer picture of what an immigrant truly is, and that at the heart of the matter, an immigrant is truly just like you and me.
No campaign is complete without the engagement of you, the public, our neighbor! And for that reason we hope you will join us in our pursuits! Anyone is welcome, at any time, to contribute a story of an immigrant's struggle in America to our blog. We do, however, want to make our respect for American Immigrants exceptionally clear, below are a few rules we follow as a team with regards to the immigrants we highlight in our campaign:
- Immigrants highlighted by VoA are both documented and undocumented.
- Immigrants that are undocumented are given exceptional privacy to protect them, their lives', and their families from threat of deportation- their story is what matters to us!
- All immigrants highlighted by us gave us exclusive permission to tell their story, or their story was taken from an article already in public domain.
- Immigrants highlighted by VoA believe it is their civic duty to stand up for their brothers and sisters undergoing the similar struggles, and by sharing their story they're doing exactly that!
From all of us at Voices of America, we hope you enjoy the stories we are sharing with you and we hope you will join us in our pursuit to create a finer future for all of those who wish to become an American!
